New year recycling activities for kids and adults!

doodlebump nursery art - recycling activities upcycling with kidsWe hope you had a great Christmas and new year. If, like us, you’re a little too full of chocolate and your house is looking a lot like a toy shop, you are probably thinking of having a good clear out and starting afresh. This year doodlebump have made a new years resolution to take some of the tired old things we have lying around and transform them into something prettier and more useful. I am also hoping to use this opportunity to include our 2 year old son in our ‘upcycling’ sessions. This may go badly!

With this in mind I have opened up a ‘kids activities’ board on our pinterest page that I will be filling up with great recycling ideas to help your kids pass time on a rainy winters day, and use up those items you may have otherwise thrown away. I will also be adding a new category to our blog on this subject, and would love to hear any suggestions you have. You can contact us using the contact us page or post items you have made on our facebook page. I look forward to seeing what people can make, myself included, its going to get messy!
